Ellie Ward


As an actor, Ellie trained at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts and has since enjoyed working on a variety of projects and productions, mainly in London theatre. Favourite roles include Petra in An Enemy of the People, Katie in the up-and-coming Bournyack Theatre's Drowning on Dry Land and Nancy in an open-air touring production of Oliver Twist. She also supported as Amie Drake in London Theatre Workshop's Break a Leg nominated City of Champions. In addition, Ellie works extensively in immersive theatre and children's theatre in London and beyond. She regularly works with the award winning Belper Festival where she had her first professional job, writing and touring several one woman shows about various historical characters.

Ellie is also a professionally trained model.  As a writer, Ellie continues training at the prestigious writing school at Roehampton University. As well as writing and performing several one woman shows which have toured the country, she is now focusing on a variety of new projects including her debut novel about the misadventures of a friendship group of jobbing actresses and a stage play. Ellie

is the Artistic Director of her own company, impACT, which specialises in creating dedicated and tailored theatre and events for girls and young women. She has a particular interest in young women's fiction, writing for the stage, adaptations and biographical writing and is always interested in new projects and collaborations.
